Wait... Are you maybe looking for Unformat Microid? Same Behavior, More Awesome!
So I created this cool little widget that turns every ugly piece of styled text in your clipboard into beautiful plain text.
You just:
- Copy (Cmd+c) text (with or without images) from a website
- Click the delicious UnFormat button
- Paste (Cmd+v) text in any text editor. Like Pages, or TextEdit, or... just maybe... even Word.
What's to it?
Removes all tags, images and other annoying stuff from the text in your clipboard. This means UnFormat makes it easier to work between different applications with text (such as Word, Powerpoint, Pages, TextEdit, etc.) because it converts everything inside the clipboard to plain text with no styling applied. Try it and see how much smoother moving texts between applications gets.
What’s New in Version 2?
- The second version has been completely restyled and updates the core scripts.
- The widget indicates whether it is busy.
- Now features a "speed boost mode", which works excellent with big texts. Doesn't work on all macs though!
